Sampling d’Annam Princess of China, part of their Chapter 3 collection, unsurprisingly a feminine, fresh floral blend, anchored mainly by a pairing of peony and white lotus, accented by silk, lychee, and pear, so a bit of a semi-sharp, fresh, sweet, fruity aspect, as well, though this is more in the background of what is mostly a gentle white floral blend. It’s fairly easygoing and smooth but is striking which inhaled generously, as it has some density and performance. Surely an option that could suit many but it’s outside my personal tastes a bit. Still, I would like smelling it on someone else, and it’s a clean floral option to deepen the catalogue.

As with almost the entire house, this is EDP concentration and priced at $160 for 50ml, sold in the US via the house website and great boutiques like Perfumology. I continue to be impressed by the brand’s diversity and quality.
