This is quite my style and a proper, classical chypre. It's green, dry, and earthy, with the floral component taking a backseat to the rest of the composition. A bed of grassy vetiver, musty patchouli, and earthy oakmoss gives way to a labdanum backbone. The ambery tone grows more prominent as the scent develops, overtaking the dry-down with an amber-earthy accord. What you get is fairly straight-forward but very well composed. If you don't like chypres, or green-earthy scents, this won't be for you. Another winner from the house, in my book.
