An interesting start with the mix of citrus - more bergamot than mandarin - and a pleasant rose right from the start; the more traditional line up would let the rose wait a bit before kicking in.

The rose is on the bright side, and more blossoms than rose leaves or stems at least initially. A greenish jasmine joins the rose in the drydown, later complimented by an iris impression that is quite a characteristic depiction of it; it lacks any powderiness on me. A slightly sugary undertone appears transiently.

The base adds a soft and unusually bright element of fankincense, followed by a restrained vanilla, as well as an - on me at least - even fainter smooth patchouli. The base boast a discreet sweetness throughout.

I get moderate sillage, good projection, and five hours of longevity on my skin.

This spring scent of this Grasse-based company has some creative moments, although the actual individual notes are nothing extraordinary. It is crafted well. 3.25/5
