On strip tester - initial sharp spices with vanilla to soften. I'm getting florals as well, and cocoa now - zero fruits.

5 minutes: Already with the strip on the other side of my desk - it's kicking out spiced vanilla with a hint of chocolate, but I'm also getting rose and lemon zest? This is projecting off the strip like a beast - probably blooming with hedione, amboxide and galaxolide.

The lemon zest + rose combo floating above chocolate vanilla is actually a very clever contrast.

20 minutes in: The rose is fresh - like rose petals in champagne There's something incredibly familiar about this - like a scent that was used in something from back in the 90s - but I can't pinpoint it.....yes I can Lancôme Trésor!

2 Hours: Cadbury's drinking chocolate mixed with baby powder and a sharp metallic top edge

Final review: Rubino has turned into sweet makeup drawer/bag territory. I was expecting to find a tampax, a photo booth strip and a lipbalm next to it. Definitely more feminine leaning.

This is Trésor with a bit of Bianco Latte mixed in.
