As for the parfum, I can see why this is a very popular perfume. It's dense and powerful yet supple like a strong hug (from someone you don't really want a hug from). The bergamot and orange sit very precisely at the top while the heart and base swirl in waves of sandalwood, olibanum, and vanilla. Sweet yet fresh, woody yet springy. This parfum version of Sauvage is tolerable, for the most part; the harsh, sharp, and thick edges present in the EdP and EdT have been decently rounded out and softened, but it's by no means interesting or "good."

Whereas the parfum of Sauvage was tolerable, mostly, the EdP is not. It's a sloppy mess of synthetics all blended to the same decibel level. Piquant, nose tingling, synthetic citruses; thick, oily, resinous, synthetic sandalwood and cedar; melted, syrupy, sweet amber and a big heaping spoonful of musk. It's lifeless - never evolving or playing with the air around it. Thick, like you're trying to breath in soup. Unpleasant, but oh so popular.

And for the EdT, this is basically the same as the EdP except made a bit more effervescent and short lived. The ambers and woods do not feature as prominently, and their longevity is quite a bit shorter (thankfully).

So, with all of that this said: no. All three are total scrubbers and do not deserve any sort of connection to the Roudnitska masterpiece that is Eau Sauvage.

Can't really add much here that needs to be said regarding the fragrance, everyone knows it by now so it needs no further interpretations. I will add like I did on my EDP review that I use both the EDP and EDT to layer. One spray of the EDP and 2 of the EDT and I'm good to go. The EDP gives the EDT a little more boost.
I really didn't like Sauvage when I first had a tester bottle...but after giving it another chance and wearing it more it grew on me enough to buy the bottles I did.
Firm peoples favourite obviously as it is an amazing scent...enjoy it and don't worry about being another sheep.

Sauvage has a juicy, citric, static quality along with a clean vibrating metallic heft that is rugged, cosmopolitan and sexy.
It can come together to have a slightly jarring quality, that can overstimulate which to me is a plus, when you wear it very sparingly. Then the chemistry does the work, and not the sheer volume.
You’ll realize then that it is a lovely smell, which is why it has sold millions, and its aggressive but brilliant chemistry manages to make it feel “neon” in a dark world, where everything else is just paint on canvas.
Don’t worry about smelling like a “douchbag” or “bro” with this, just apply sparingly, and don’t be an asshole.
And yes, it’s become part of culture, so it’s no longer “unique”, but neither are red roses, blue jeans or a red sports car, so stop listening to marketers that you have to be a unique snowflake to have taste or appeal.
My only curiosity around this is that more woman don’t try it. It could be deadly on the right woman, just as it is deadly on the right man.
Now go enjoy this arrogant masterpiece that still dominates culture with its sheer olfactory charisma.

The word ‘nasal’ comes to mind when I smell Sauvage EDT. There is no doubt that this scent has an audience, but quite what that audience sees in this is beyond me.

Even with the popularity of this fragrance and most men having this in their collection, I still love this Fragrance and is one of my all time favorites. I don’t reach for it much anymore due to it being worn and smelled by thousands of others everyday but it will always be close to my heart. The EDT is a youthful loud long lasting smell with great projection and longevity.

Dior at their worst, copying a trend and not trying anything new. Its sharp, metallic, has a synthetic fake smelling bergamote at the opening. Not even the bottle is original, nor the name, nor the font on the bottle...this is a shame, creatively speaking. Dior at their lowest, this is the moment they sold their soul.

This is a true subversion of the fresh woody aromatic genre: It takes BDC and Aventus, parts of it, makes it digital, turns up the sharp bass to the point of distortion, and voila. Its cranked up, sharp, synthetic, ambroxan is on high pitch here. Its almost so bad, it becomes an artistic statement without even realizing it. Its almost like a parody of itself.
