From across the north-west corner of California’s coastal mountains comes Juniper Ridge’s Siskiyou Wilderness Perfume— a place almost primeval in character, full of diversity and green-magic, alive with spicy pollen, dry, sun-soaked trails and wildflower-laden, golden creeks. It’s an aromatic journey that reflects a perfect day on the trail, an expression of deep love and an interaction with nature that transcends the millions of years of conifer evolution.

A cardamom bomb with coniferous sap. Projection is surprisingly good for an EdC but longevity is poor.
Natural perfumes are quite susciptible to batch variation so it's possible that I just got a bad batch, but whatever I got smells like a spice mix, not much like a hike in the woods.

Unique, raw, natural, not a parfum, and supremely natural splash fragrance. What the juice would smell like if you took your Vitamix into the forest and started grabbing ingredients for a nature smoothie. Pick it up if you are a city living "outdoorsman" that would like to experience the scent of sticky pine sap on your hands without the hassle of actually camping and/or chopping wood.

More of a fragrant experience than a perfume. Upon application, this green liquid flashes into the air like the burst of aroma from a bruised branch of an evergreen tree. The ingredients are listed as "distilled from plants, conifers, bark, moss, mushrooms, and other things found hiking in the Oregon backcountry." The notes listed are: warm ginger, spicy Cedar, driftwood, citrus, and deep conifer forest. (Apparently, the perfumer found that a bit of non-native support was needed, since ginger and citrus are not normally found in the woods of Oregon.) In all, it smells fresh, aromatic, camphoraceous, turpinoid, woody, non-sweet, wild, and outdoorsy. After the initial rush, it tones down quickly to a whisper after the initial rush. I like the concept, I like the aroma. It would make a great bath fragrance. I think it needs to wear better on skin. I'd like my house to smell like this all the time.
Smells like a compost heap and triggers the gag reflex!
I'm speechless.
Siskiyou smells like washing your dishes while camping on the forest. Pine / Woody notes, citrus-flavored dishes detergent and an overall bilgey vibe.
Not my concept of a body fragrance. Sorry.

Bright, grassy, a bit hay-like. Kind of lemony at first, in fact at times like a lemon hard candy. Then it develops a dusty-dusky herbal aspect. Powerful, slightly sweet, with a distinctive and somewhat round or "plump" character. The smell of scrubby hills. Could be more camphoraceous or coniferous. It does develop an interesting minor note of earth or mineral. Very natural, lasts about an hour.

Notes (from Juniper Ridge site):
"Warm ginger, spicy cedar, driftwood, citrus, deep conifer forest, mountains and rivers without end."
This is a distinctive scent. I should like it more. It has a rich, "plump", sort of musky quality that I can't quite identify and which I assume is the Siskiyou Cedar. It is not unpleasant, yet it doesn't fully appeal to me.
Scent starts with a good lemon-citrus note. It quickly develops that rich note. I really struggle to describe it. It is something like fruit, perhaps tinned pineapple (tart with a metallic tang) or star fruit. But when I say "fruity" I don't mean it reminds me exactly of those fruits, rather those fruits share a weight/heft/quality with this scent. Perhaps the ginger adds to the mix.
It settles into a light and vaguely coniferous scent. It is OK, and certainly worth a try. But this one was not bottle-worthy for me.
