I think Lorenzo Pazzaglia is trying to jump on the synthetic amber trend with this scent. It leans heavily on ambroxan, and I’m a bit torn. I wouldn’t get a bottle, but in some ways, the synthetics are handled fairly well. It’s right on the edge of being tolerable—far better than Erba Pura, which can feel screechy. Compared to that, this one is smoother and more balanced, but you really need to like this style of fragrance. It’s not repulsive or a “scrubber,” but I can understand why some people dislike the synthetic character.

Up close, it can feel quite chemical, but in the air and sillage, it’s tolerable and resembles other fragrances already on the market. That’s part of the challenge here: the value proposition. I haven’t smelled Tropical Vibe from Rayhaan, but I suspect a clone could come close. For the price, it feels a little steep for what it is, especially since I’ve encountered many similar fragrances that offer the same vibe.

Performance is strong, lasting more than a day on clothing. Despite the name, I’d wear this only in winter or cooler months, as it would feel too cloying in the heat. The fruits and coconut are blended well, but none of the fruits smell natural. I think they missed an opportunity—they could have dialed down the synthetics and incorporated some natural-smelling fruits, like the guava from Que Chimba or blood orange from Sun-gria, and added synthetics tastefully for a marine twist.

If you’re looking for an alternative, I’d suggest Monopteros from Der Duft. It still has coconut but feels fresher and more natural, making it a better option for spring and summer.

This is my review after 3 wears. First one a simple one spray on my hand, second one a couple of sprays on hands and neck. Third one was a full 5-6 sprays on hands and neck.

First suggestion, never spray this perfume 5-6 times, one is enough.

Summer Hammer is an extremely powerful, fruity, gourmand one. But the fruit notes are really synthetic. The prominent fruit notes are Mango, Strawberry and some pineapple and coconut.

The sillage is phenomenal. if you are looking for a fruitful, summer perfume this might be a good choice. This perfume is very very strong and not light at all. so be careful and only do a small spray.

one spray was nice and enough and lasted long time. when i sprayed 6 times, it was a painful experience. It was headache inducing. I tried washing my entire arms with soap but no help, the synthetic chemicals remained. i took a bath but still marginal help. once after washing with soap, the left over chemicals are really bad. There are a lot of less powerful but nice gentle perfumes with fruit notes available.

Pazzaglia Summer Hammer is a powerful boaster fruity sexy bomb. This fragrance is literally hounting. The aroma is fresh, musky, slightly salty, definitely sweet, freshly boozy-spicy, soapy-cosmetical (slightly in a way conjuring a sun cream) and tropical (as well as enriched with lots of sweet/acidic or creamy tropical elements). It expresses a somewhat bully, glamour and blatant type of trendy/party animal temperament. I'd say this fragrance (coco, mango, papaya, pineapple, rhum) is a part of a Pazzaglia' s exotic trilogy along with Extreme Passion (passion fruit, further tropicals) and Sex Sea (mint, myrtle, ozonics, yuzu). The note of mango (super blantant a la Unique Mangonifiscent) is definitely the main protagonist in all its tropical luxuriant juicy/acidic magnificence. This fragrance well fits to histrionic temperaments which wish to splurge out There self confidence (or better vain vanity) and take place unapologetically in the middle of the stage. You won't definitely get unnoticed by wearing this brash fragrance. Lorenzo Pazzaglia describes this juice as the summer in a bottle. I'd say this fragrance is a cool musky-juicy mango pinacolada enriched with lot of further tropical elements as pineapple, papaya, aromatic green notes/aromatic spicy notes and white exotic florals, all the elements waving over a sexy musky base which is mastered by creamy sandalwood and synth "organic" ambergris. Vetiver provides a fresh, airy and grassy exotic twist (especially as joined to well calibrated salty-ozonic vibes). Frankly I detect all around a vaguely oudish molecular freshly saffrony and slightly creamy aura encompassing the boozy fruitiness and this quality is essential to fully describe the general vibe and the cool presenceful temperament of this particular super modern fragrance. I catch nuclear performances on my skin while wearing this olfactive hammer.
