Armani sun di gioia is my favorite one in gioia line
It's subtle,sunny,sweet and summary but it also has a warmness that makes it wearable year round so while it reminds me of summer,I don't see it as an exclusively summer/beachy fragrance
I agree with first review about that it starts loud and soon calms down to a soft and close to skin scent.for me this is a plus since it could be overwhelming for summer days if it continued to be as strong as it's opening.I'm not a fan of tropical scents but there are some that I love including sun di gioia.I don't like my tropical scents to be overly fruity or citrusy so I'm happy to find one which has more emphasize on vanilla and floral.vanilla is creamy and delicious blended with a healthy dose of powdery florals.if you're not into summar scents with dominant tropical white florals such as gardenia or tiara there's no need to worry as it's mostly about plumeria and iris
Though coconut is not listed as a note,I can detect it clearly all through scent development and I have to confess it has one of the best coconuty undertones possible.coconut isn't fully gourmand in sun di gioia,it's not fully sun screen like either;it's something in between,a great balance of gourmand and sunscreen coconut(more leaning towards being gourmand thanks to sweetness of vanilla)which is very pleasant
What stays close to skin for +6hours is a smooth and sweet creamy,powdery scent which is both yummy and beachy.for me it's comforting and also a mood lifter
Highly recommended if you're looking for a warm and sweet summer perfume

An odd blend of sweet (vanilla), powder (iris), and sunscreen stored in a cedar chest (that, I can only guess is the frangipani and ambroxan). Starts loud and proud, but fades to a skin scent (on me) in about an hour.

Not for me, but might be of interest to those who like tropical themed scents. Extra points for not smelling like every other new mainstream release.
