One of the better Swiss Army fragrances I've experienced. Mountain Water is quite linear and uncomplicatedly constructed, and it performs well sillage-wise and longevity-wise. It's quite synthetic… but it manages to produce a rather interestingly aroma.: I enjoy the rock lichen note; and the herbs – especially the mint – form a pleasant complement to the lichens which provides an enjoyable coolness to the fragrance.

I agree that it is not really a unique fragrance, but it does create a competently fresh feeling without relying on some ubiquitous aquatic accord.

A bold, sweet, airy, and truly icy fragrance. It is among the freshest in my collection currently. The notes include a base of Alpine rock lichen, sage, rosemary, and patchouli (just a touch so it does not take over the scent) under a mint and black pepper top. Many fragrances include mint, but this is my first that puts the mint on top to heighten the crispness, with the florals and spices underneath to push the top notes higher. I realize that blue aquatics can begin to seem altogether too similar, but I delight in finding the different recipes and effects of each of them. This is exceptional. Longevity and projection for me are 2-4 hours and broad, respectively.

Swiss Army Mountain Water offers a maculine aquatic fragrance that is not quite unique, but offers slight variation to the clean and fresh scents available. It is somewhere between a Aqua Di (Armani), Cool Water, and Versace Pour Homme. In my opinion (that and a $1.25 will buy a cup of coffee), it comes out of the gates with a clean citrus scent and then finishes with the aquatic masculine scent that says clean freshly showered. I am disappointed in the sillage - yes, I admit that I am high maintenance and enjoy riding the "wake" my fragrance leaves behind following entry into a room - it is not there with Mountain Water, nor is the longevity. Regarding the Wow Factor, compliments from the opposite sex, I have not received any unsolicited comments, but Sweetie (a.k.a. girlfriend), gives a thumbs up and suggests that she enjoys it most just following the intial application. I am fond of blue colors and as such, enjoy it - it is easy on the eyes and the fragrance is easy on the nose. If you can pick up for less than $30.00, go for it. I am all about the deals..!! All things considered, I would give Mountain Water 4.3 stars out of 5. Life is full of defining moments - will you define the moment or will the moment define you..??
