unique in that I've never smelled vetiver with apple

unless you've fallen in love with the above accord, theres nothing special.

Some would define this beet-root botany
as a green perfume!
Some would define this pure monotony
as a green smoking room!

HOW TO USE THIS PERFUME
Caution: Do not exceed the recommended doses

Mouthwash: the recommended dose is 2-3 daily gargling with 10 ml of mouthwash.

Oromucosal solution: the recommended dose is 2 sprays 3 times daily taken directly to that area.

Warning:
do not exceed the prescribed dose unless recommended by your physician.

Warning bis:
It isn't an oral contraception! But If you put this perfume on and ask a girl to have sex with you, she says “no!”.

I'm probably missing something here because, to me, The Botanist is just yet another green vetiver which strongly feels like a clone of 400.000 other vetivers . As simple as that. Yes, there's something *vaguely* bizarre about it, a vegetal / musky undertone that's slightly challenging and *off* (this aspect is especially present during the late drydown where the fragrance shows the same musky element of Vetiver Extraordinaire) but, for the most part, The Botanist is all about the most simple vetiver note known to perfumery.

Considering you can get a tremendous vetiver-centered fragrance at basically any price range and that this genre has already offered a plethora of pillars, this is a pass for me.

A big thumbs up for this one, the Botanist. Having tried the 11 scents in the collection, I like how this one reminds me of Momento.

I'm going to try to persuade my wife to try this one. I love it.

I think the Botanist this scent is named for grows fragrant flowers. Yum.

The scents in this series have good longevity for me, pretty much all day, 10 hours or more.
