A endlessing exotic dream in the same dreamy clan as Giardini di Toscana Borabora (2023), Perris Montecarlo Ylang Ylang Nosy Be (2014) and Tom Ford Soleil Blanc (2016), with all the assumed differences and olfactory peculiarities. Definitely one of my favorite super feminines from L'Erbolario. It is the scent of sunlight caught by petals, a whisper from a distant pacific island where the sea sighs softly against ivory shores of fine sands. Tiaré represents a female touch of the enchanting Polynesia, floral and exotic kingdom of aromas and colors. The perfume is very feminine and enchanting. It olfactively casts a story of a Tahitian women with a crown of Tiaré petals around her neck, as the symbol of love. I don't know exactly the year of introduction on the market but the fragrance is still available on the L' Erbolario's boutiques-shelves and apparently on production (it is available as 100 ml edp, with the matching body products). This fragrance is a flori-fruity tropical-oriental with lactonic coconutty nuances. Tiaré is exclusively feminine and begins a bit messy and with a cosmetical, kind of un-natural, soapiness before developing the characteristic tropical white floral aroma with a light milky consistency. Tiaré is a creamy flower with a rich, exotic scent that is both creamy and floral, with a sweet, almost tropical warmth. It is reminiscent of jasmine and frangipani with a soft, milky and tender quality that, in this case, is furthermore enhanced by notes of coconut, though the coconutty vibe is toned down in favor of a more botanical floral consistency (not quite creamy-cosmetic but vaguely leafy-botanical). This fragrance stands out and overwhelms with a dominant Tiaré flower, sweetened by coconut milk that makes the composition more delicate and taunting. The fruity touch consists of Damask plum, jummy and deep. L' 'Erbolario Tiaré is a radiant, tropical-inspired fragrance that captures the essence of a summer escape. It opens with the luminous sweetness of tiaré flower plus a tad of citrus and the utterly exotic touch from ylang-ylang, it quickly envelopes the senses in creamy, sun-kissed florals, subtly underscored by warm coconut, white musk and soft vanilla. The scent is both uplifting and soothing, evoking white sands, tropical cocktails and balmy breezes without becoming overpowering. Despite its exotic profile, it maintains a clean, elegant simplicity typical of L’Erbolario creations. Longevity is moderate, with the scent lingering gently on skin throughout the day. Ideal for lovers of floral-gourmand blends and anyone seeking a touch of the tropics in a bottle. Tiaré blooms unfurl beneath golden skies, their creamy sweetness mingling with the hush of coconut palms and the warm breath of vanilla on the breeze. Wearing it is like stepping barefoot into warm sand at dusk, the air thick with the memory of sun and salt and the skin kissed by both fragrance and fire. Performances are more than average on my skin.
L'Erbolario Tiare
A kaleidoscope of scent surrounds you upon first application. The buttery banana note of ylang, the slight green sharpness of muguet and the lemon/orange tang of bergamot, combine to make the nose sit up and take notice of what is to come.
The heart is a lush tropical combination of coconut, plum, and tiare (the South Seas gardenia). The plum is more of a fig note than that of the ripe plum fruit. Although my eyes tell me that white is the operative color going on here, what my nose is telling me is green. Vanilla rounds out the coconut and cedar gives the base the aroma of wood shavings.
This is not a tuberose, lily, jasmine onslaught of unctuous white florals, but a more subdued herbal/floral mix, a quiet skin scent in fact. As is usual with L'Erbolario, the emphasis is on herbal rather than floral, although oddly, no herb is mentioned as part of the note tree. I definitely smell a dry thyme note, however.
Unusual, though pleasing. I purchased it looking for a summer white tropical floral scent, but though disappointed on that level, I find the end result somewhat refreshingly normal. The fig and coconut dry down has a cocoa powder vibe that is warm and reassuring. Unisex.
Not great, but very nice.

A sweetish and very tropical floral with some coconut and vanilla in the background. It blooms beautifully in the heat, but I dislike it in the cold. It gets somehow cloying to me in colder temperatures. And it has enough of ylang ylang, that vile flower of hell, to ruin my day.
I do recommend it as a summer scent to everyone who loves wearing florals in the heat and who likes tropical scents. I dislike it despite respecting it as it's really not my style, but you might find an actual gem here.
