Latest Reviews of Tiffany & Co
A translucent aqueous/aquatic calonic super sharp musky eau de parfum by Tiffany&Co, something in the middle between Elisazeth Taylor Love and White Diamonds, Laura by Laura Biagiotti, Chanel Eau Tendre, Reminiscence Rem, Malone Lime, Basil & Mandarin and L'Erbolario Fiore dell'Onda, with a tad of J'adore. There is an extreme acid/metallic aqueous floral sharpness in the general musky atmosphere. All the elements smell kind of pure, classy-chic and transparent in a sort of "enchanted pond-like" fairy ambience. The citric tartness is kind of melancholic and nostalgic while muskiness is finally moody, peppery and slightly green. The floral presence of iris is decidedly sharp, citric, peachy and vaguely acid, with a moody final touch from patchouli, blackcurrant and woodsy elements. A tad of grapefruit? Vague aquatic synth patterns? Lilac, peony? It seems the perfumer Daniela Andrier has been inspired by her passion for the universe of jewelry and precious stones in order to create this "classic in class" modern well-blended fragrance. Well crafted but not original. My medium rating is focused on the general measure and the olfactory musky balance.
P.S: along the late dry down the juice improves and I detect a more "pronounced" blackcurrant-presence, a tad of soothing balsam and a darker floral presence (moody iris and something conjuring me lily of the valley).

I got a very fresh and sweet pear, with a bright note and was told I smelled like candy. May be the mandarin and iris mixed together gave me this impression. I'm usually not a fan of green fruit fragrances but I'd buy this one even if it does not have the best performances.

Tiffany & Co knows what it is and owns it. A sheer fruity floral, Tiffany reminds me of Bal d'Afrique if you stripped it of its basenotes and left only musk to support the fruit. There's more here than the pyramid suggests: blackcurrant, peach, bergamot, and lemon join the green mandarin, and the iris softens the sourness of the fruit. Laundry musks are detectable but not overpowering in the base, and the whole journey is over in 3-4 hours.
Tiffany & Co. really does smell like the crystal-cut bottle that houses it. Bright, effervescent, and pretty. I wouldn't buy a bottle, but I'd definitely use one if it were given to me and may consider gifting it to a friend or family member in the future.
Fruity-florals get a bad rap, and I can understand the disdain for certain modern fragrances (*cough*flowerbomb*cough), but Tiffany is a well-executed perfume, light and cheery, and perfectly tailored to its primary audience (young women, of course). Carat by Cartier has a similar feel without the fruit: light, bright, and boisterous. Modern perfumery could (and often does) do worse.

At clearest point where
Tiffany blue vanishes
Lies an idea
Air glass and water
Enclosure and the enclosed
Enclosure itself
What is a jewel?
Limited without limit
If folded just right
A kind of beauty
To possess what we cannot
But yet somehow can
Sheer experience
As if possibilities
Pass through a bottle
That cannot hold them
But the bottle is a gift
Changing all futures
And then ask yourself
Who would you dare give it to
If not out of love?
Crossroad collectors
Rememberers of journeys
Dreamers of futures
Beloved bottles
Of own possibility
Somehow never owned
Close your eyes and see
All the wonders not yet false
That love can make true
If trapped in prism
Of such beauty's construction
Would you embrace it
Or grab one future
And ride to crystal station
Where someone awaits?
Maybe the answer
Is close your eyes, take a sniff
And then you find out.

An orangey citrus opening is followed by a sweetish iris on a muguet-peony backgound. The second phase is dominated by a mix of white musks with a soft and somewhat bland patchouli.
I get moderate sillage, excellent projection and five hours of longevity on my skin.
Pleasant, not very original, synthetic - very middle-of-the-road. 2.5/5.

'Precious made pure' goes the blurb.
There's nothing precious about Tiffany & Co, but it's pure alright - pure chemical.
This fruity cardboard 'peony' is bad enough on skin, but if you really are a sucker for punishment - try it on a smelling strip.
