I'm reviewing this from a small sample vial.

Upon first application, the camphor is very strong, and I don't like it. I'm not a native of Asia where it may have many associations. My main way to relate to camphor is through the medicine Tiger Balm.

The incense, smoke, and moss also come through very pronounced.

It's not until it has sat on the skin for a half hour that all the harsh notes fade. What's left is completely lovely. There's beautiful sandalwood, galbanum, jasmine samba, and aldehydes that all radiate delight. The list of notes is more than my nose can decipher. I really like the dry down.

Don't spray it on and immediately get guests. Give yourself some time. It's for the reason of the harsh opening that I give Tirtha a neutral rating.
