Verveine Cedrat fragrance notes
- verbena, lemon
Latest Reviews of Verveine Cedrat
It's a very tart, slightly acidic-sharp citrus and lemon verbena fragrance that is just great as a morning refresher, just out of shower or just before shower scent, or something to top up other fragrances if I feel I want to add more citrusy zing to them. I also used it a lot to spray my towels and fresh laundry - but in hindsight it's not the best option for that as it does not last on fabric at all. But it did make my home smell fresh and sunny while doing that, so hey!
The scent is mostly about the top notes and it's very short lasting, but it's part of the appeal of a short energy and freshness burst. It's not meant to be your scent of the day - more like a scent of the morning to help you wake up while sipping your first coffee. I bought it as a cheaper alternative to L'Occitane's Verveine which I also like and had prior for the same purpose of a megafresh, megatart, megacitrusy all purpose refresher that just instantly makes you feel better. It's good for that.
Since I used it as an all around spray I used up a bottle super mega fast - if I only used it as a perfume it would have taken me at least a year or two - but I don't mind as it's very affordable: I paid 8 euros for a kit with perfume, soap and hand cream, I can definitely allow myself to rebuy it down the road if I miss it.
And you know what, I might. I enjoyed it for what it is.

Light & refreshing fragrance with lemon & verbena.
Nice for spring mornings & perfect when the heat wave strikes...
Thumbs up!

While cheap and unremarkable in its composition (verbena, lemon, and that's it), this unpretentious, short-lived little perfume is a great morning pick me up, or would suit layering with something more substantial for those who like to experiment. I spritzed a little over the top of Guerlain Vetiver for an exhilarating summer zing.
