Latest Reviews of Vetyver Cèdre
Vetyver Cedre is a slightly woodier adaptation of the original Vetyver, with a noticeable emphasis on nutmeg. While the original Vetyver feels grassier and softer, this version introduces some iris, which becomes more prominent in the drydown. It’s not overly woody to the point of feeling overtly masculine—it remains a unisex scent suitable for year-round wear, except on particularly hot summer days. However, it doesn’t bring anything new to the vetiver genre, making it a passable option overall.
A nice lemony vetiver with a lumberyard sawdust note in there as well. It does a good job smelling like it could be classic (it has a green chypre sourness), but also smells rather modern and "niche". In a world of perfume fans who would love a classic vetiver recipe infused with wood, I'm surprised no one really talks about this one.
