Joop! Wow (2017) is a decent fragrance that doesn't resemble the original Joop! Homme in any way but I like the Joop! brand so I intend on owning every masculine scent so that's one of the reasons I picked this one up. The scent is kinda sweet but it's a very modern type scent so I'm not surprised. I don't wear it too often but I am wearing it today. The fragrance isn't my favorite but it's a decent flanker to the Joop! Family

I never knew this was from candyman Joop.

ITs not like regular Joop, its not sweet, it isnt musky, deep or dark, light its woody with a hint of violet.

Wont wow anyone, but you wont smell bad either.

Id call it Joop 'Meh'. Buy if in a bargain bin at b&M.

Packs a punch at first from the cardamom/geranium/violet combo. Not sweet at all at that stage and very forgettable, classical smelling.

The drydown is better but at the same time a bit uninspiring, plain. You see, in the end it becomes a sweet tonka and cashmeran mix. 2 notes. Top and hearts notes really disappear completely.

The opening of Wow! is spicy cardamom and violet mixed with masculine leather and woods. It's quite dark and modern without any overbearing citrus or sweetness. The drydown smells like vanilla and spiced woods.

Projection is average but longevity is good, lasts all workday.

Nothing special, just a decent conventional synth take on woody dry/earthy (vaguely percil shavings along the way) geranium/violet combo with a final touch of soothing tonkinian vanilla (in order to warm up and balance the angular hesperidic/woody/floral main accord). Joop follows the trend represented by many new generation designer virile (and utterly woody) synth dry woody/floral which are by now a sort of must (and which let me totally indifferent). I agree on that Wow smells similar to Armani Eau de Nuit but also to several Fendi, Gucci (Gucci PH 2) or further designer creations crowding the shops shelves.

This is good. Comes across like an eau de leather to my nose. No, there is no leather in composition but the overall impression is just that.

This is close to Nikos Sculpture Homme God's Night, though they arrive at their aura via different means.

I consider this as part of the movement to return masculine fragrances to form. Baldessarini Ultimate and Gentleman Givenchy are following this as well.

Worth a sniff, try and buy.
