Sampling Maison Mataha Café Des Delices, a 2025 release that’s fittingly a gourmand, with notes of coffee cream, biscuit, tonka, vanilla, and musk, fairly light and agreeable, not too sweet, coffee-laden, or bready, but some combination of the three with the vague suggestion of creaminess. It may arguably be the easiest to wear of the line to date, a gentle gourmand that is not too striking but pretty difficult to object to, and I imagine fans of the line will find this enjoyable, even if not terribly innovative or boundary-pushing. Overall, it’s easy to like but not one I jump to love, though I’d surely recommend that those interested in the line or in gourmand in general give it a try.
As with the rest of the line, this is extrait concentration and priced at $215 for 100ml, sold in the US via great boutiques like Perfumology.
