Latest Reviews of Carios
I found this one a bit more tolerable than Valeros, but like the others, it has that persistent ambroxan in the base. It’s not the worst use of ambroxan, but it does get a bit tiring on the nose over time.
The opening is a pleasant blend of saffron and orange—something I can definitely get behind. As it develops, though, the ambroxan comes forward along with a touch of tonka, with a faint woody backdrop lingering underneath. Overall, it just feels too expensive for what it offers.
