Chocolate Vanille is a total misnomer. I was expecting a Chocolate Greedy and vanilla type combo from the name, it's nothing of the kind. In fact I dont get any Cocoa or chocolate period. This is actually a variation of Roses Musk by the same house or vice versa, very similar notes. First time I put it on, I actually thought maybe the samples got mixed up but did a side by side and they are similar but slightly different as well. The top is all rose to my nose, dont get any cocoa. Where this differs from Roses Musk in the next stage of development. CV is sweet and woody, the cashmere wood and coconut I am guessing, though here again, it's not a Virgin Island Water type coconut, it's more of a crushed coconut mixed with sugar type of note. Roses Musk is all floral in the heart. Finally something in the title comes through and it's the vanilla. The base is a mild, musky vanilla dry down but again it's very timid. Again dont get any Ambergris per se but maybe it's used as a fixative here. The Damascena Rose is the dominant note all the way through. This is a rose fragrance. Period. I find CV to be slightly more masculine of the two so get this for yourself and Roses Musk for the wife/girlfriend. Longevity and projection are both good and the quality of ingredients is top notch, across the whole line actually.

Amazing frag...I got this bueatyful perfume from PPI.
I am a great fan of sweet type of fragrance. The name suggest it is sweet. What an amazing combo chocolate and vanilla.I am very impressed that how this is blended with rose and coconut, for me it's a must for people love cocoa, vanilla, chocolate and rose. I am not an rose fan...but rose in this reminds me of teaif rose. It's an longlasting perfume...for me it stays about 12+hrs. CV is an very versatile perfume and best occasion to wear this is perfume formal setting as well as nightout with frnds. Panah London you have realy taken chocolate, vanilla and rose into diffrent level. Now I am planing to buy Velvet Oud by Panah.

Happy reading all Frag community frnds. This is my very first fragrance review.

I recently got a sample of this fragrance and I love it. Though I am not a gourmand fan but this is a straightforward gourmand freshie that is plainly unisex and pretty. It opens up with fresh Rose, cashmere wood and a hint of vanilla that smells very natural, fresh and inviting the best thing about CV is that it's not cloying like other gourmand fragrances. after a while it deepens and chocolate and coconut kicks in and make it even more beautiful and it has a really nice musky dry down. It's perfectly tasty and well crafted. I just couldn't stop sniffing my wrist. Longevity and projection are good so is the quality of the ingredients. It's a full bottle worthy fragrance for me. Undoubtedly It's my favourite from the Panah London line.

A week ago, I sampled Choco Vanille which is the fourth in the line. See my other reviews on this house :)

It took me quite a while to understand and appreciate this fragrance . The opening is a blast of extremely boozy rose along with spices and mild cocoa. Hence it is gourmand rose, booze and fudge like opening. There is a spice accord which takes over the next stage along with coconut. Mind you the coconut is not a typical holiday scent accord but it is more grounded and very well done note.

This is not a typical chocolate fragrance so don't get put off by the name. It looks like there has been use of pyrazines which give that chocolaty nutty vibe. Choco Vanille has monster performance and lasts 12 hrs on my skin for which it gets a big thumbs up.The sillage in the air has wonderful aroma and is definately a head turner.

The dry down is one of the smoothest and nicest Vanilla. So if you like Vanilla based fragrances this is the one for you. Give it about 4-5 hours for this phase to turn up.

Choco Vanille can be accurately described as a Boozy Spicy Vanilla.
