Sparkling aldehydes are still magnificent in this 80s bottle (aerosol atomizer! pssssst), they lift this honeyed, bitter apple, ever so slightly medicinal marigold. I love the smell of marigolds, and this is a true accord, accented with blackcurrant buds and basil. It's remarkable how intact the fragrance is given its age.

Coriander dusted, powdery, soapy floral medley is what makes up the heart, with that marigold still the driving force. It gets bolder and warmer over time. The florals seem to immerse into spiced woods, with lingering herbal shades. It's a unique vibe, a savoy unisex treat, a lush wear.

My bottle is the 2011 version. It's a "green" fragrance, in my opinion. It's pale in strength and does not last very long. However, upon re-spraying frequently I detect hints of chamomile, galbanum, ginger, and Turkish rose. Aldehydes take this one over. A good choice for hot, summer days, if you want something light to wear.

Firsth thing you will notice in the frag is aldehydes. Now usually these put me off a little when there's too much but there's just enough to enjoy without saying ew. It's blended with a green floral note and dries into a spiced musky oakmoss.
