An interest in fragrances is loaded with desire and promise, yes, but often spoken of in terms of obsession, addiction, perfection. Hyper Musc puts all those to bed.

The perfume is infinitely simple, endlessly elaborated, with a texture inviting enough to be explored forever. The union of warm musks and indelible mint has formed something at home with Milton’s description of heaven. Specifically, he wrote that those entering heaven would be greeted with an individual kiss.

(So in a place past eternity, complete entities are conjoined into a hitherto undreamt bliss. A perfume brief delivered as a poem almost a half millennium before the scent was produced.)

To smell this and explore Hyper Musc’s layers is like watching a magician’s snow-white scarf inverting over and over; like seeing a silken camellia the size of a star, like holding a gaze too long till it lives forever in the mind’s eye.

These hyper-comparisons draw nearer to the actual effect, but nothing compares to the actual smell. Perfection in this scent is an immanent presence, a concept made flesh…but only while it’s warmed by yours.
