Fan Your Flames
Nishane (2017)

While the opening of this fragrance is promising with its boozy rum note, the coconut becomes quite dominant after just a few minutes. Unfortunately, the promised smokiness and burning embers are not detectable, and instead, the coconut note is accompanied by only a hint of tobacco and tonka bean. If you are a fan of coconut scents, this fragrance may be worth a try, but personally, I find it to be a bit too unremarkable.

Update 2025: It's not as bad as the first time I tested it but it doesn't reach your expectation especially with the name. The coconut is also not as noticeable. I do get the coconut when i smell it off the bottle but on skin, you get an herbal cedar. I don't know exactly what Chinese cedar is but there is an herbal element to the woodiness.

Very nice juice.
Starts off with a strong sweet coconut blast that settles but persist for a good few hours.
Eventually the tobacco and woods come through with a hint of smokiness that really give that feeling of heat.

Instantly takes me to being sat in a genuine sweet wooded sauna.

The opening teases a dirty-sweet accord with some genuine complexity, but this gradually yields to a shallow, cloying, synthetic sweetness.

I am a big fan of the boozy rum note, and this is a fantastic boozy rum with a sweet yet dry coconut smell that to my nose smells Devine, I love this.

Both frags from my wearings are long lasting as well as exceptional quality.
I have my third bottle from this house, and I'm looking forward to my sampling of that one.

Love it!

At first spray I get a blast of coconut and rum. Then as it dries down it goes to woody(cedar)/sweet(tonka bean). The coconut stays throughout the day in the background. Longevity is amazing! I am sure I will enjoy Fan Your Flames very much.

The opening of Fan Your Flames is a rush of smokey oud and coconut. Later into the drydown, the smokey oud is still there on skin, almost like a cannabis note, but away from skin, I get a clean, fabric softener sweetness that's very nice. The coconut is gone by this point. The clean fabric softener seems to be more in the base as it completes the three phases of this scent.

This feels very sexy and seductive since it has sweet, clean and dirty elements all going on at the same time. It is somewhat of a heavier fragrance so fall and winter seem best. Date night worthy.

Performance is very good, projecting nicely with minimal sprays for about 7-8 hours while the skin scent lasts all day.
