Ginza Night Eau de Parfum Intense by Shiseido is a fruity-floral semi-gourmand and somewhat spicy-musky fragrance for women (but nice on the right metropolitan man as well imo) which was launched in 2024 and that features as main notes "sultry-musky" black currant (dark, silky and juicy), creamy jasmine, tangerine and soapy cedar. There is something kind of super urban, velvety, psychedelic and iridescent (in a whirl of night's metropolitan lights) in its fruity floral semi gourmand formula perfectly represented by its "shading off from color to color" bottle. Ginza Night is a conceptually pop-synth fragrance a la Costume National Scent (2002), Elie Saab Le Parfum (2011) or Giorgio Armani My Way Intense (2021). Darkly urban and slightly mysterious this pop-glamour-chic fragrance encapsulates the atmosphere of the posh-glamour Tokyo's infamous neighborhood Ginza, the beating "swinging" heart of the japanese grand capital. There is something dark and kaleidoscopic in the Ginza Night's aura (with a iridescent alternance of violet - blackcurrant-, white - white flowers - and red - orange/tangerine - night lights) representing the darkly mysterious atmosphere of a Tokyo's red-zone full of sex motels, strip bars and red clubs. Spicy/musky/citric blackcurrant represents the dark fruity hot factor in here, kind of velvety and (ideally) gleaming out coloured lights in the night. The aroma is kind of creamy floral (with a dominant accord of white flowers and blackcurrant), slighly musky, vaguely peachy and lipstick, with a woody-cedary soapy dry down. A bar-soap like kind of final soapiness is a relevant characteristic of the olfactory affair. Dry down is delicately musky vanillic, whitely floral with a noticeable gardenia (and the delicate white floral bouquet), woody cedary and sultry musky with a "hotness" mostly provided by this soapy musk/blackcurrant combo. The neon lights illuminate the city and the magic of the night begins to come alive. A slithtly bizarre, somewhat androgynous and glamour fruity floral for eccentric metropolitain fellow. More than satisfactory performances on my skin.
