Hugo Man
Hugo Boss (2021)

This was my "Signature scent" in the early aughts, probably at least until the middle of the decade. I recently (I think last summer, so recent in context of this being a fragrance I last smelled somewhere around 2005) saw this on sale at a rack store (Ross, I think) for maybe $30, so I snatched it up. It still has that woody aromatic profile I remember, but man, is it short-lived! Maybe my nose just worked better 21 years ago!

I currently have a bottle of Hugo, and while it smells nice, it lacks that special something that reminds me of my bottle of Hugo from the 90s. I recently received a bottle of Hugo Man in a swap, and it immediately brought back fond memories of the 90s and my previous bottle of Hugo. I'm thrilled to add Hugo Man to my collection; it truly takes me on a wonderful trip down memory lane.
