wait a moment.
stop there. yes there. the church behind you corners your eyes with perfection, your skins smells clean and fresh and the incense corners your delicate obsessions, the wrinkle you have on the right eyes end ups being crisp like parchment.

so here we are, there is the church, the priests are watching / probably because our shorts are a bit too short or some other italian malady referred as the local costume. but as you are fresh and young and smells of fruity citruses, i am a bit older and i smell of balm - probably of psalms too.

then after we both have finished taking pictures of this wonderful cathedral here in the middle of the city we will go out, the roses will smell but the procession will be still there, their magenta dressed cardinals are not a bit more distant but still we can smell the smoke.

after we are back in the hotel we will remember this: the freshness, the oldness, the vines of a small rose nearby the cathedral.
there is always more catherdrals to see and more incense to smell, we are in italy after all.
but we will remember that day more than anything for the freshness.
and the conspicuous moment when we run away after te coffee and we were still smelling in each other hair a hint of missing messes.
