I was delighted to find a NIB vintage set of three soaps and EdC in an antique store yesterday! The soap is beautiful, with an old-school mossy green tone. The EdC is a gorgeous floral chypre. It is haunting and romantic. Reminds me of Guerlain's Sous Les Vent. The florals are beautiful, romantic but not excessively sweet. The jasmine adds an earthy touch. The moss is definitely old-school in quality, with a touch of leather in the dry-down. What a score! Definitely unisex in style.

Vintage perfume. A touch of citrus in the beginning, I can't identify. It is brief. The top / middle is really about carnation, honeysuckle, and jasmine. Very boisterous - beautifully so. Awesome aldehydes. I get some clove and pepper, here and there. The base is "dark" with oakmoss, musk, and something else. It may be patchouli. If it isn't it sure could pass for it.

I've been wearing Maja in its different incarnations, formulas, and reforms for many years. I always come back to it. Is it a masterpiece? Maybe not. For me it is more a nostalgia thing.

An old favourite A classic floral aldehyde, a bit softer than Madame Rochas, Farouche, etc. but benefiting from a hint of pepper and a slight herbal quality. Very interesting.Pros: Delightful floral aldehyde for a lot less money than some, when you can find itCons: Wish it was stronger than an EDT

Flowers and citrus, very light ...I think men and women could wear this...nice for layering with a heavier similar scent or the evening...
