To my nose Raghba opens with multiple sweet notes- I get some burnt sugar, vanilla, spiced honey, and a little caramel. All of this seems to be filtered through a resinous wall of amber darkened from some bitter incense smoke. This smells like a smokey, rich, and dimensionally bittersweet liqueur at first then it becomes a flavored cigar. I get some musk finishing this off with more thickness. I get sandalwood in this, but it seems to be designed to blend with the sweet notes at times and replicate a cigar smell. In Raghba smells just like a flavored cigar smell of the traditional sweet type like a Tampa Sweet or Swisher Sweet Original combined with a Black & Mild Original.

Raghba by Lattafa I'm going to give a thumbs down rating. Cigar by Remy Latour (1996) I see as a nice sandalwood scent that's also cheap, simulates a unique tobacco smell and is an actual fragrance. Raghba just smells like it's replicating the aroma of a flavored cigar sold at gas stations and drugstores. Not a bad smell but so commonplace it's interpreted as the equivalent of burning potpourri in a room and not a piece of fragrance artistry.

Kalemat on steroids. It smells exactly like warm treacle tart, which is made with Lyle’s Golden Syrup and breadcrumbs pressed gently into an all-butter, short-crust pie shell, but over a rubbery, slightly sour oud wood note that, although more joss stick than actual oud, is surprisingly effective at balancing out that syrupy sweetness. At its heart, it’s an amber, but I always feel that it is much more than that, and that the best I can do is to say it is warm dry wood meets nag champa meets toasty resin and a syrup facet that might be fruit or grain derived, but it doesn’t matter because it is both homespun and slightly exotic in a generic manner. I love it.

Vanilla with Woods and Incense.
My skin amps the incense - which I like. It's also pretty linear - smells about the same on first spray as it does hours later on me.

Sometimes, I get a strong cinnamon stick accord. This is a fairly recent phenomenon after about a year of ownership.

I am not entirely confident about the silage. I think that the silage is arm's reach - but I have a feeling this fills up a room.

There's something in here that I go anosmic to and I can see myself over-spraying and choking out anyone who comes within 5 feet of me...which may not necessarily be a bad thing.

Overall, I'm happy this is in my collection and a great value at the discounters.

Decent Fragrance but not smthing i'll miss if i'm honest but i'll forgive it for the price. Lasts for so long you begin to beg (if you don't like it much like me),

For around $30 US I would say this is an exceptional value for a rather linear juice. This is strong at the start and sweet. It is similar to Dolcelisir by L'Erbolario to my nose with the sweetness and vanilla. I really like the subtle oud/incense vibe I get from this. I do like it and would recommend this for the fall and winter for sure. For the price I would say it is a safe blind buy as long as you don't already have Dolcelisir (Vanilla Sweetness) or 24 Gold (Oudish Sweetness) by Scent Story... Otherwise Enjoy!

Gentle, discrete and sweet caramel sauce plastered over three scoops of vanilla ice-cream allowed to melt a little.
Wore it for a very informal but traditional old style English restaurant meal with my family and it suited that setting perfectly. Pleasant in every way.
