Supreme red berrish smooth musky amber and plummy silky-suedish woodsiness (silky sandalwood, cashmere wood and aromatic woodsy resins) from the darkest damp enchanted forests. That's my first reflection about this Ojar's piece of fruity boisé beauty, another "from the fairy forest type of fragrance". Silky woods are melted in a sink of plums, florals, balsams, ambergris and red yummy berries in order to create the silkiest of the woodsy berrish creations with a super lush texture and high refinement in the middle between a classic massive old-vibe chypré and a cutting-edge modern fruity forest-mélange. As soon as you spray on skin a tad of Woods Whisper eau de parfum you could effectively feel soon an olfactory déjà-vu of previous renowned woodsy berrish fragrances as Serge Lutens Feminité du Bois and The Vagabond Prince Enchanted Forest (all the three fragrances having in common many elements as woodsy notes, fir resins, rose, violet, red berrish fruits, plums, spices, amber/vanilla, musk etc). I detect a more than vague suede-vibe all around (probably the effect produced by a silky combination of ambroxan, creamy sandalwood and cashmeran with a touch of suede), since the first stage when you can by soon note a sort of humid dark forest twist. The precious note of sandalwood (as combined with cashmere woods, musks, elusive florals and ambergris) is central in here, smelling kind of smooth, seasoned, sweet and velvety with a lush enigmatic floral texture-effect. The note of cashmeran is due to expand the floral influence and to melt woods and floral notes in to a sort of velvety stream. The final outcome is another winner from Ojar, a fragrance representing a tiny red line connecting gorgeous feminine classicism and modern seductive more minimalistic musky refinement. Unisex but more oriented towards the feminine side of the pitch. Medium sillage and medium/high duration on my skin.
