Latest Reviews of Citrus And Mint Leaf
This is basically the unfinished and boring fragrance that is Blue Cedar and Cypress, but with a lot more layers. It adds a fantastic mint note, accompanied with a pretty straightforward bergamot. That same smokey and ashy dry down, a little smoother than the BC&C, still.. very noticeable similarities to me. The fakemoss is also prevalent here, and although real oakmoss would be nice, we know it won't happen. I'll take the fakemoss over another boring fake screechy woodsy base any day though! This one would have maybe done well with a diluted Iso E blended into the base.. I may work on that myself!
This is Cremo's lightest fragrance which makes it good for spring and summer. Citrus and Mint Leaf has surprising stealth longevity, meaning it will continue to reappear with pleasant wafts of it's linear citrus/mint freshness even after the 4 hour mark. It can be paired with Cremo's Citrus and Mint Leaf body wash although they don't actually smell the same. The body wash is a very minty, cooling sensation and excellent for hot weather showers/baths. The EDT has a focus on the citrus and the mint is not as bright and forward. I love Cremo colognes and the body washes are even better. Great values and a good gateway house for young people and those just starting to up their fragrance game. Prices are in the low $20 range and represent a great buy. Do not expect super power longevity and sillage but performance is admirable relative to the price point. I wouldn't recommend this as a first Cremo cologne; Silver Water and Birch, Blue Cedar and Cypress, and Spice and Black Vanilla are better choices. Still Cremo is primo and deserves a Thumbs Up.

Superbly sparkling, clean, fresh opening, drying down to pleasant, laid-back wood. (I'm having trouble keeping my nose away from the nozzle; the early goodness is that compelling.) Stays brighter, longer, than most other fragrances I've experienced: the citrus hangs in there, albeit a subtle skin scent, altogether.
One of the best values, to date, in my modest collection.
Longevity: greater than it would seem—say, over seven hours—but this is as an extremely subtle skin scent.
Sillage: very minimal. A heavy hand here is not a vice.
Could be thought of as an aftershave component—something subtle and kind of fleeting—rather than, "Hey, here's my 11-hour powerhouse."
Fine fragrance; a keeper.
Try along with the nice Citrus and Mint Leaf shampoo/conditioner, which I sometimes use additionally as a body wash and a shaving soap. It's tingly.
