I've never smelled Silver Mountain Water so I can't compare this to that. What I can say is that Cremo Silver Water & Birch is a super pleasant aquatic/floral fragrance that smells of higher quality than just $20. It's quite versatile, though it especially shines in the heat. I like to use it as my signature scent to the gym, it smells distinct from a generic "gym fragrance" while not being overbearing. Cremo is my favorite cheapie brand and this is one of their best.

Cremo's Silver Water and Birch.

The reality is that Cremo's Silver Water and Birch is merely a cheap reflection of Creeds Silver Mountain Water. I am a big fan of Cremo colognes and have several so that is not a slam. In fact it was Silver Water and Birch that finally advanced me above Axe body sprays that were an occasional $4 with very minimal thought put into their selection. Creed's Silver Mountain Water, Armaf's Club De Nuit Sillage and other clones render SW&B EDT as un-necessary (the body wash is a staple however). Cremo's surprising level of quality, affordability and accessibility qualify them as a great 'gateway' brand to initiate the previously unaware to the joy of elevating their olfactory experiences. Thumbs up.
