Milano Fragranze Cortile is my third try from this line, a crafty white floral fragrance consisting of jasmine, tuberose, osmanthus, and ylang ylang—bright, fresh, but not too sharp, heady, or powdery. Really, a very pleasant floral experience, and the white florals themselves pair nicely with the bergamot and sandalwood. The note of coffee that’s mentioned isn’t something that I really detect but as always, I would welcome it. The overall feel is of an easy-to-wear, somewhat light but not boring white floral, well balanced with woods, mainly. I quite like it.
Like the rest of the line, Cortile is priced at $135 for 100ml—unusually reasonable amidst current price increases, particularly for well-conceived and nicely-presented niche perfumery—in EDP concentration, and is sold in the US at great boutiques like Perfumology, where I purchased my sample set.
