A weird ambery floral with a dominant heliotropic resinous tuberose/ylang-ylang central chord, lot of spices and white vanillic resins. Milano Fragranze is an Italian niche perfume brand founded by Masque in 2020, with the artistic direction of Alessandro Brun.
The aim of the brand is the one to represent on the olfactory path the “Spirit of the Place”, namely the most iconic and impressive city trademarks and hallmarks of the great and creative Milano. This fragrance is a creative floral semi-oriental in Xerjoff Join the Club-style (More than words 2012 or JTC 400 2018 to quote several). Neon Lights by Milano Fragranze is a bizarre floral honeyed semi oriental launched in 2025 and performed by the nose Nathalie Feisthauer. There is a sort of redolent floral serum-feel all around and something kind of nocturnal, "plastic and metallurgic" in it. Strawberries provide a juicy touch of dark-red coloured light while amber and vanilla add hints of resinous and some white talkiness. There is a vague far exotic lands twist imprinted by powdery vetiver, ylang-ylang and spices while amber and tonka add a final enveloping white oriental touch. The ylang-ylang/vetiver/cardamom/bergamot/amber connection is not so distant from the exotic Perris Montecarlo Ylang Nosy Be (2014)'s main accord but in here red berries, spices, heliotrope and most of all tuberose provide a weird urban hyper modern-chic "electronic" (vaguely pop) olfactory dimension. Probably a creamy urban-pop vibrant tuberose is in here the real star on the side of ylang-ylang and juicy creamy strawberry. Performances are on the average on my skin. A weird really "transgender" take on musky resinous florals ideal for free eccentric metropolitan nocturnal spirits.
